Structured light diffractive optical elements without requiring collimation for 3D sensors Wuxi OptonTech Ltd. introduces large angle FOV structured light diffractive optical elements (DOEs) without requiring collimation on May 28, 2018. The feedback from our users is very positive.(http://www.edphoton.com ) DOEs without requiring collimation can be utilized directly for spherical wave emitted by laser diodes, eliminating collimation lenses in the optical path. Consequently the size and the cost of laser modules can be significantly reduced. It is very suitable for the applications where smallness is important such as mobile phones.(http://www.edphoton.com ) Currently the DOEs can be used for point-emitting lasers only, and cannot be used for surface-emitting lasers, e.g. VCSEL yet.
